Dubai Islamic Bank uses J6530 secure with Arabic language support

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), successfully uses comForte's J6530 Tandem Terminal emulator to implement secure access to their core Banking application hosted on a HP NonStop server. "Arabic language compatibility has been a key requirement, since most of our core Banking Screens are in Arabic. comForte enhanced J6530 to support Arabic within a very short timeframe," says Ganesh Gangadharan, DIB's project leader. "With J6530 as a Java-based solution, we have also removed the operating system dependency of the client installation and successfully implemented encrypted data exchange between our HP NonStop server and the user's workstation."
