comForte has signed an agreement with Skybeam Management Ltd. for worldwide exclusive distribution of Client Server Link (CSL). CSL enables Microsoft Windows and Java clients as well as J2EE and .NET application servers to access Pathway servers on HP NonStop systems. Working seamlessly with existing HP RSC or RSC/MP clients, CSL provides a cost-effective replacement for existing Remote Server Call (RSC) middleware and helps customers build enterprise Web solutions both with .NET and J2EE technologies. Using the .NET platform, Pathway servers can be accessed through the CSL COM API. For J2EE integration, the CSL Resource Adapter adds comprehensive support of the Java Connector Architecture (JCA) and Java Transaction APIs (JTA) for distributed transaction (XA) capabilities. comForte will integrate CSL with SecurCS to secure the remote server call communication link with the SSL/TLS protocol, providing a powerful solution for enterprises requiring to secure their existing remote server call environment.
