As every year, comForte took part in the ITUG summit and exhibition in San Jose in October 2004. This year, comForte has been awarded by the HP NonStop Enterprise Division for the ongoing investment in the latest technologies:
IPv6-Ready Award
Chris Rooke, Vice President Marketing and Solutions of the HP NED, and Giovanni Caldei, Product Manager TCP/IP of the HP NED, visited the comForte booth to hand out the "IPv6 ready" award. The award honours comForte's enhancement of its flagship emulation product, MR-Win6530, to support IPv6, the next generation TCP/IP standard.
Itanium-Ready Honorary Mention
During the closing general session, Pauline Nist, Vice President HP NED, praised comForte for successfully compiling one of its product for the Itanium platform. comForte used the early Itanium compilers to successfully create an Itanium executable for the SSH/SFTP component of its SecurFTP product. comForte is commited to migrate all its NonStop products to the Itanium platform as soon as possible.
