Dr. Michael Rossbach, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Michael Rossbach, a doctor of astronomy, started his own company in 1979 to develop application and system software for Tandem NonStop systems. He successfully grew his company to a size of 35 employees before selling it to Applied Communications, Inc (ACI). After serving as CEO of ACI Germany for 3 years, he co-founded comForte. Building upon the success of MR-Win6530, the most prominent product of his original company, he leads comForte to develop and market new solutions for HP NonStop server connectivity and security. Today, Dr. Michael Rossbach is a Managing Director and the CEO of comForte 21 GmbH.
Michael Horst, Chief Architect
Michael Horst has more than 20 years of experience in the development of applications for the HP NonStop and Microsoft Windows platforms.He was the originator and architect of comForte's well known MR-Win6530 terminal emulation package. After co-founding comForte in 1998, he helped comForte to extend its product line to become a leading provider of security, web-enabling and Host integration solutions for HP NonStop servers. Michael Horst is a Managing Director and the Chief Architect of comForte 21 GmbH. As the Chief Architect Michael is in charge of the R&D organization as well as the company's strategic technological roadmap.
Thomas Burg, CISSP, Chief Technical Officer
Thomas Burg, CTO of comForte, has more than 20 years of NonStop experience with an impressive background in systems programming, networking and computer security. He is a seasoned Computer Information Systems Security Professional and achieved his CISSP certification (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CISSP) in 2007. Thomas is a recognized leader in the NonStop business and serves as the program chair for the NonStop part of the HP Technology Forum since 2008. He is a regular attendee of key industry events such as GartnerITxpo and Infosecurity Europe. As the CTO of comForte 21, Thomas is responsible for the company's products and solutions.
Michael Weilbacher, Chief Financial Officer
Michael Weilbacher has a long career in the NonStop market including positions at Tandem Computers where he served as the Managing Director for Germany and later on as the Managing Director for the EMEA region. Michael is a Managing Director and the CFO of comForte 21 GmbH.
Knut Rossbach, CEO, comForte Inc.
Knut Rossbach has an exceptional track record of managing subsidiaries of a large global organization, with both national and later regional responsibilities. For more than 30 years, he has held senior management positions in locations around the world (Australia, Germany, Singapore, UK, USA). Knut joined the company in 2005 as CEO of comForte Inc. to build up comForte's US operation which is responsible for the group's sales efforts throughout the Americas.
Andy Simpson, Managing Director, comForte Pty. Ltd.
Andy Simpson has more than 20 years of NonStop experience as a developer, database administrator, systems manager and general manager. Andy has been instrumental in the design and development of The Operations Pack (TOP) and he joined comForte through the acquisition of Gresham Software Labs in 2009. Andy now acts as the Managing Director of comForte Pty. Ltd. based in Sydney. He is responsible for the business in the Pacific region as well as all aspects of TOP product development and support.
Say Kuan Koh, Managing Director, comForte Asia Pte. Ltd.
Say Kuan Koh looks back on a long career in the IT industry where he began his career as a SNA systems programmer, at first in New Zealand and later in Singapore. Say Kuan joined ACI Worldwide as a sales manager and later became the General Manager Asia Pacific for Insession Technologies. Before joining comForte in October 2010, Say Kuan held the position of Managing Director Asia Pacific for GoldenGate Software Asia Pacific. He is now the Managing Director of comForte Asia Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore.
